Hi Bear makers,

Welcome to the 170th edition of the Teddy Web Gazette which is our last for this year. We have decided to now close on Wednesday the 17th December 2008 and reopening on the 12th January 2009. Our Website will remain open so orders can still be placed. Anybody wanting orders before we close please make sure they are placed no later than Tuesday evening.

In the New Year, we will be bringing back some old favourite Synthetic fabrics that have been out of stock and are constantly being asked for, plus a new variety of colours in paw pads and also some new clothing for your special bear. We are also currently looking at replacing some existing wooden disks with fibre. All this in the new year so keep a look out in our Gazette for our new exciting stock.

Early in the New year we will be running a Needle Felting Competition which will be judged by " Barbara Allen" who is the author of "Needle Felting Magic" and there will be 3 prizes including signed copies of NFM and Barbara's new book which is just about to be published "The Ashford Book of Needlefelting" More details will follow early in the New Year.

"Krumel " made by"Silivia Schulze" from Germany will soon be with us in a kit using our Synthetic fabric "Ice Caramel" "Josh" is a 20cm bear designed by "Christine Welsh" of "Nioka" using 226 "Lyonaisse" Mohair.

"Margaret Colles" from "Shambala Artist Bears" sent in this dashing chap,she used our 223 Chambray Mohair, and he has needle felted face and feet. We have called him "Shambala Man" This cutie was sent in by "Karen Howarth" from England. He was made using our 226 Blue Drizzle amd Black Mohair. "Panda Boy" is the name we gave him!!
