Hi Bear makers, Welcome to the 161th edition of the Teddy Web Gazette. At last our Mohair has arrived! late Monday afternoon, unpacked on Tuesday and now we are busy organising setting it up on the websites for all to see. Below is a sampling of the new colours, They will all be under Mohair , obviously , but will be sub headed as Mohair 2008, there is a considerable amount of work involved in this process as we obviously have to get accurate landed costs including air freight costs, duties and taxes which have all had to be paid , photographs taken and edited then descriptions made of each of the 44 new styles , no time to waste !!! got to get sorting this all out !!! For the Alpaca lovers, that is also back in town with 40 metres of stock available ! We really would appreciate your comments regardless. We hope you like what you see! The Olympics are about to start as we all know, but there is a second olympics have just started and that is the "Teddy Bear Olympics" which are being held in Taiwan and hosted by a good long standing client of Beary Cheap, Mr Yauh Zeng Lin, who also happens to be very heavily involved in the Taiwan Teddy Bear Association, there are a whole heap of bears in the competition from all over the world and the idea is to pick the top 3 bears (gold silver & bronze and 3 runners up ) and the public are asked to vote for their favourites , the link below will take you to the competition and the final judging of the most popular 10 bears will be handed over to an international panel for final adjudication, all good fun !!
