Hi bear makers and welcome to the 157th edition of the Teddy Web Gazette. We had a very enjoyable day on Sunday at the Gold Coast International Teddy Bear, Doll and Bead Fair. Some of the Teddy Bear tables were exquisite, so many talanted bear makers around. It was also an opportunity for us to meet people who we had only spoken to on the phone. As you will see we have extended our Mohair promotion by a further week as the consignment has been delayed due to a shortage of Alapca and we have to wait as it would make the alpaca very expensive if it had to get here on it's own and there are a number of you out there who would not be too pleased with that !! "Sarah Ralph" from the UK sent in "Louis" who is 15 inches tall, made from our blue green mohair, ultra suede pads, glass eyes and cotter pin joints. Great looking and so soft.
"Ratty" the Rat was made by "Jenny Kleinschmidt" from Australia who used our Synthetic fabric Blackcurrent Razzle. What lovely teeth he has!!!!!!
