Hi bear makers and welcome to the 155th edition of the Teddy Web Gazette. Firstly we must appologise, many of you e-mailed to say where is the link to access the lovely range of the Rustic accessories, totally forgot to put it in so I hope you will enjoy checking them out., hurry up though they are moving!! We mentioned last week about the paw pad & thread problem it actually happens with all orders so credit card customers should also be aware of this as you may think we are taking more than we are entitled to which would never be the case, no one seems to be able to fix this so we are stuck with it for the time being! We have placed our first order for mohair and will be getting some 35 to 40 rolls in the next few weeks, some old favourites but most certainly a lot of new colours and types which we are told by Helmbold are curently being made use of by many European bear makers , likewise we have started the process of looking at our synthetic fabric stock and sadly one of our main suppliers seem to have disappeared so we are hunting for a replacement for him but do have samples form a couple of others which we are currently looking at . Safety eyes, character eyelids , eyelids and many other items where we have been found wanting of late are being addressed and rectiied as quickly as we can , I look forward to being able to say to you all one day " ask for it and it will be available" but the range of products carried is so large and varied that I suspect that is going to take fair amount of time to acheive. Enjoy making bears and to all our southern hemisphere clients, now is the time to get checking the cupboards as winter fast approaches and you dont want to start then find you dont have enough to finish!!!
