Hi everyone & welcome to the 148th edition of the Teddy Web Gazette and the very first unassisted edition by us, which we hope you will enjoy. Our initial forte into the business is beginning to get planted into our brains and whilst it is very different from what we are used to we are very pleased at the general reponses and letter of encouragement from many of you for which we thank you, we have made the occassional mistake and well ,we suppose that is to be expected, but we're having fun and enjoying getting up in the morning and seeing what is in store for that day, so much so that, we are here at the warehouse often before 7 in the morning ! It is a challenge but one we are thoroughlly enjoying and once we decipher a few more of Cindy & Derek's tricks we will be well and truly initiated into the craft of Bears !! This cuddly bear was made by "Yana Devyatina" from Russia.
Yana has called him "Tpnwjin" but we will call him "Big Jim".
He is made from one of previous Mohair fabrics

This little pink cutie was made by "Jan Niessen" from Queensland she is called "Kandy" and is
made from our synthetic fabric "Mauve Whip"

You are invited to hear Jill Robinson speak about the incredible work of Animals Asia Foundation when she visits February in 2008. It's been over 18 months since Jill has spoken to Australian supporters about the progress of the world's largest bear rescue, so don't miss your chance to hear about the challenges she faces as the Beijing Olympics approach. Your attendance will also help us raise money for the rescue centres in both China and Vietnam.

Fabulous auction prizes have been secured for each of the events, including an amazing 11-night "Highlights of China" tour, which takes in all the must-see sights. The trip also includes a behind-the-scenes tour of the Moon Bear Rescue Centre in Chengdu with Jill as personal guide. The tour departs Australia on World Animal Day, 4 October 2008.
