Good bye & Merry Xmas from Cindy & Derek
Time is just flying by and in a few days we will be leaving Beary Cheap after 14 years. We know the business will be in good hands but it is still a wrench to leave our customers behind. We have had great fun running Beary Cheap, it's more like a hobby than a business and we have come to know many of you very well over the years. A big thank you to all of you who helped us rescue our little Moon Bear "Naji". His sad departure was heartfelt by all of us. It was a great effort and we can all be proud of the help we gave to "Animals Asia".
Our future will take us to Thailand in the next few months and a chance to travel. After that who knows, I'm sure we will find a new venture to keep us amused. Cindy plans is keen to get involved in Real Estate & Derek plans to expand his computer expertise by studying website design. Many of you have asked asked us to keep in touch, so we will let you know where we are & what we're up to.
We wish Jim & Di all the best with their new challenge and trust you will help make it a success for them.

Welcome from Jim & Di
Our first Xmas as permanent residents in Australia with our daughter Danielle and son Scott is something we certainly are looking forward to, although on the other hand it will also be our first Xmas without the other members of our immediate family which are first and foremost Di's mum and dad whom we hope to bring out next year, and another 2 equally important members of the family, Phudi and Winston, our two dogs, who are currently in quarantine, have been for the last 3 months and still have a further 4 months to go before they are released from the cluthches of AQIS to their new home here in Australia, it is a neccesary evil and we are learning to live with it as we know come the beginning of April they will be back with us, we have attached a picture of them just so as you can see who we are speaking about, Phudi , who was a stray some years ago is the Maltese and Winston , the Jack Russell, Phudi's name will probably sound strange to most but when she was cleaned up after having been dumped on our office desk some 7 years ago looked a bit like a baby goat and the Setswana (Botswana) name for a kid goat is PHUDI hence she was christened by one of our old staff members and the name stuck!
We woiuld like to take this opportunity to wish you all well over the coming festive season and if you are travelling do so safely, remember a few minutes means nothing in the bigger picture and we look forward to working with you all in the coming times and are sure you all join us in wishing Derek & Cindy all the best in their future endeavours .
