Made from a soft rubbery material, they are far superior to the old plastic noses with a much more natural feel.

"Soft Noses" have a safety back which means they are perfect for bears made for children.
The plastic safety washer snaps on the stem & cannot be removed. The backing is very similar to our "Alive Eye" backing.
"Soft Noses" need to be inserted before stuffing the head. They look great on synthetic & mohair bears!

"Milly & Tilly"

These two beautiful rabbit bears were sent into us by Susan Smith all the way from Wales in the United Kingdom. Milly (12") & Tilly (10") are made from our multi coloured synthetic fur (Coney Island) with wonderful needle felted faces.
Thanks Susan, they're just gorgeous!

Design your own "Moon Bear"
& win $100 worth of bear making supplies!
Everyone is invited to enter our "Moon Bear Competition".
We're looking for someone to design us a pattern for a "Moon Bear".
The winning pattern will be sold on our website & the winner will receive $100 worth of "Beary Cheap" bear making supplies!!!
Beary Cheap will donate $5.00 from every pattern sale towards "Naji's Den".
Here's the requirements to enter:
1. Design your own "Moon Bear" pattern, it must be your own, original design.
2. Make your bear using fabrics from "Beary Cheap" - can be either mohair or synthetic furs.
3. Take a great photo of your bear & email it to sales@bearycheap.com using this link by 30th April, 2007

Tips to help your entry
1) Ensure you take a good photo of your bear as this is the only method we have of judging the winner.
2) Try not to make your pattern too complicated, as the pattern must be able to be reproduced by a wide variety of bear makers with varying degrees of skill.
3)Your pattern does not have to be too realistic, we are looking for photogenic qualities too.
4) Please ensure you use "Beary Cheap" fabrics, as we need to be able to provide kits using our fabrics.
5) Remember to tell us which of our fabrics you've used in your bear.

Please note: The pattern will be completely produced in saleable form by Beary Cheap.
The winning entry will be required to provide their pattern & photo, so that we can produce the patterns.
Suggested Fabrics
We've had a few people ask us for fabric recommendations for a Moon Bear.
There are lots of our fabrics you could use. The ones below are merely suggestions.
You could even use a mixture of mohair & synthetic if you like. There's no rules!
